2007 GTR Proto Thread

The day is finally here and Modified Mag was there. This is a strong glimpse at what the 2007 model will look like. Speculation whether this is a twin turbo AWD can be squashed, it will be twin turbo 3.7L V6 with a 7-speed gearbox and ATTESA AWD to compete against the 911 turbo at half the price.

So will Canada be seeing this car? EXACTLY how it sits right there with the same specs?

Or will we be getting the usual NORTH AMERICANIZED version nonsense we saw with the S chassis?

forget where i read it, but it'll all be the same, jpn, NA all the same, except steering wheels.

can't wait....dad wants to get a 911, maybe i can sway him...

After seeing a few pics on the web, its starting to grow on me.

Is there any more information regarding the specs of the engine? ie. bore, stroke, rev limit etc

Will the gearbox be sequential, standard H pattern or some sort of new electro-shifted unit?

I bet it would look sick if it was all black.

I am actually really starting to like it. My buddy Alex (username: Nismo) whipped these off today on photoshop.

Slam that biatch down, throw on some real wheels instead of thoese blings, change a few colours and you have....
