R34 GTR $40,000.00 when available? plus $45000.00 in mods sounds like better money
then a 2012 R35 GTR and easily surpass its power/weight ratio
and maybe its just me but the VspecII champion blue is the
best car in the world and if it was the only vehicle in the world and
everyone had to drive them .... the world would be a great place...lol

the "next generation" skyline should be a inline again!

4.2L inline twin turbo stock 3.5" FMIC dual exhaust
bigger sedan sized passenger compartment (m56 or maxima)
with big 19" low pro's gold bbs rims

    anyone agree?

    the idea is there
    gtr it is
    skyline its not
rb inline 6 is the engine... not v
    just cause they've mashed a infiniti/z/maxima
and put it on steriods does not a skyline make
it is still know that the last skyline is the r34
a "V" engine is not skyline enough for me to justify a 100 grand
especially to have the warrenty voided when driven......lol

I personally refuse to purchase a vehicle manufactured after '99 with exception of a 2002 skyline

I still think that the '72 240z is more skyline then a gtr r35

and if rust didnt exist it would still live
    I beg to differ ....

There's more to it than that. The R35 is exponentially more advanced in every way than the R34, which is over a decade old now. It takes a lot of time and research to build a car like the R34 to where the R35 is without a lot of compromise in drivability.

Why? What's so great about the inline? Tradition? A V piston configuration is more balanced.

The last thing anyone needs is an even larger Skyline. If anything, downsize.

    anyone agree?

Inline 8s are bulky and awkward. That's why you won't see them on many(if at all) production cars. Horizontally-opposed(boxer) engines have the lowest center of gravity.
