Corvette C4 For sale or trade - $5500

'84 Corvette C4 coupe up for sale or trade. Bright red with targa top. 300+ hp L83 with mild cam, aluminum heads, ARP studs, Aurora wires, headers, no cats. Fairly new tires with good tread and great looking polished 17" Centerline wheels. Automatic transmission with stage II shift kit. Aircared and daily driven. Needs minor work. An easy project that you can drive during the week. Rip in the driver's seat, fiberglass body has a few cracks, weatherstripping is worn. Has Pioneer head unit and new Energy speakers, but not installed. Just installed new waterpump.

Great sounding and quick car that runs 13.6's at 100mph.

Water pump was done before winter storage, alternator replaced, new battery with warranty, and just did an oil change. Will be DDing the car unless it sells. Will likely be putting an ad up for it on CL after completing the motorcycle riding course at PRS.

Does it still have the "Cross Ram" setup on it? I may know someone that might be interested, wants a crossram car though (don't ask me why).

You mean Crossfire injection? Yes, it has that setup.

Yea, that's the ticket. I'll give the guy i know the info and see what he says.

CrossFire (or cross ram in it's infancy, that's where I got that from) was only avail. for 1 year on the '82 Vettes and 1 year on the '84 Vettes (C3 and C4 in VetteSpeak, there never was an '83 Corvette). It was also avail. on the Camaro for the same model year as the C4 Vette (1984). Was a neat idea but never really proved to be much of a power increase. IIRC they were twin single barrel 225cfm throttle bodies. If they would have used twin 400cfm twin blade throttle bodies like the ones used on the 2.8l V6 those 350s would have put out about 300hp with the cams that they had. Sadly 1980 was a horrible year to justify performance while it was developing (think 2009 but 30 years earlier with 20% morgage rates).

you mean campfire injection right? a friend of mine has the camaro with the CFI, and many people do not like it as, it has caused people to have there car catch fire... my buddy doesnt even drive the car anymore, its just kinda sitting doing nothing...
