Hi i am looking to sell or trade my Tomei Full Counter Balanace Crankshaft.

I bought it on Fresh Alloy from Eric Hsu a couple years ago for my engine build, i ended up getting a short block and did not end up using it.

It cam from a Tomei USA crate motor that had a oil pump failure at 50 kilometres. It was reground buy a reputable shop in california for Eric Hsu.

New they go for well over 4000.00 usd

I might need a crank. My new engine failed and I'm guessing the crank is the problem. I'll let you know what I think though this thing is overkill for most of us on GTRc. Why was it reground if the oil pump was the cause of the failure? Wouldt it be minty?

don't know, its just what i was told my xsdalio when i bought it, seems Tomei oil pumps have had a few failures aswell

i always wanted to use it and see what it did for how fast the engine revs up. F1 cars use full counter cranks if that says anything.

paired with Mahle Powerpac Pistons and Carrillo A beam rods would be insane. especially with smaller turbos with a hp goal of 400 or so, it would rev so fast it would be scary. Mahle Pistons are 320g vs 441 OEM, a savings of 121g per piston. OEM Rods 633g vs Carrillo Pro A 474g a savings of 159g

a total reciprocating weight savings of 1680g or approx. 3.75lbs WOW....
