    Ive been looking into porting the heads on my rb due to the lack of flow, and i wanna know if anyone has some insight for me on this. My goal is to beable to run higher boost effiecintly. Has anyone done it themselves ie die grinder or whats a shop gonna run me to do this? thanks

    if you do it yourself, i wouldn't go past portmatching the exhaust gasket to the head and manifold, as well as the intake gasket to the head and manifold.

    After that it's more trial and error then simple DIY.

      knife edging the intake port divider is an easy to do task.

      rb's need a lot more focus on the exhaust ports rather then intakes.

          I am just about to give porting and polishing a go on my RB25 head and have read up on it a bit, I had a good look at the head and the nissan guys did a pretty good job for a stock head... but still could be better

            as stated in the link does anyone know if theres a water jacket or soemthing close by that could be grinded into if you were to go to far

              so far Ive noticed that you cant take to much off the intake port side, in some places I bet the head is maybe 5mm thick. also Ive noticed that you can not enlarge the intake port that much with out having to use or make a custom intake gasket.
