I don't have any Illumination ! Can't see anything.

Long story short: My GTR went for a tranny job. I got my car today and when I went into my car this night to turn the light switch, No illumination AT ALL..

This was kinda dangerous because I couldn't see anything inside and, at least, I had my HID working in front..

Could it be a plug on the transmission or a fuse(which one? I tried 5 different fuse and they are all OK).

I just check all my fuses. they are all good.

jesus, you are having lots of problems with ur car eh!? where did it come from? which shop?....

and i would go back to the place that replaced your tranny and tell them they EFFED it up! make them fix it.

but if u wanna try urself... i would suggest start by seeing if its maybe burnt light bulbs.. or maybe a connector behind the cluster has come loose! or possibly even the plastic wiring behind the cluster.. like the thin blue or grey (depending on year of ur car) plastic film which has flat copper wiring all through it like a circuit board flex type, sometimes those can get ripped and damaged and cause things like that.

It's already fix. Maybe they guy played with my clutch pedal and a plug wasn't properly conected.. Anyways, It's fix now.

But the funny thing is that my illumation is not on my light switch but on one of the 4 button around the plastic trim of the cluster... I have no clue why.

Maybe they had issues in the past with that car? (or did it work before the tranny job?)

I've heard some people say the headlight switch dies after a while (someone actually had melted plastic....not good....the fuse didn't do it's job).

Previous owner had this issue, and decided to run the illumination wires through the fog light switch maybe?
