  • Removing A/C unit

Does anybody have a thread already made on removing the A/C unit out of my r32 gtr....wondering how big of a job it is and an approx time that it takes to do so. Also a place to get my A/C discharged

A/C takes a few hours to gut everything but the evaporator (rad inside the car). If you just remove the compressor, less than 30 mins? As for "discharging", if it don't cool much, just discharge it to atmosphere somewhere nice and ventilated, just find the needle valve and pull it. It's easy like drawing a house with crayons compared to removing the oil filter have fun!

Where's this needle valve? And if you pull it it'll vent slowly or spray you in the face?
