WTB: GTR in the Toronto Area!!

Hey Guys,

Well with the whole potential change in the 15yr rule i was planning to wait until summer to grab one but i've sped up my plans a little. I have seen some of the cars that the vendors have, just wanted to put it out there for anyone who wants to sell privately.

I want a 89,90 or 91 GTR in good condition, so long as its mechanically sound im okay with minor body blemishes (lets face it, its 15 yrs old, and things happen!). I dont want to go over 15K but ive seen a range of cars priced from under 10K to 15K. If your local and wanting to sell soon, PM me or drop me a line. Lets keep it clean ppl no bashing or unrelated posts.

go visit www.japaneseimports.ca , they have one or two I think there and more on the way of course, talk to Gabe, or Ray

they're going quick. one of the GTR's thats on its way here has just been paid for. lol. go to japaneseimports.ca and talk to dennis or ray, gabe is in japan right now and wont be back for a few weeks.

ive seen some of the cars Gabe and Ray have, to be honest i wasnt all that impressed they were good, but a little pricey. Hence why i was thinking if anyone has one for private sale that they wanted to part with.

if you ask people around the board, you'll know you get what you paid for. i paid a lot for my GTR, but what do i get. a car thats reliable and wont break down. heck ive even hit a curb already and all i needed was an alignment because the car was in amazing shape. for me spending 15k+ on a gtr is better than spending 10+ on a gtr then spending 6k+ on repairs to make it driveable. bare in mind most prices you see on other importers sites are FOB(fresh off boat) price. it'll cost you another 4-5k to get it to toronto and registered. take the time to do the research about this rather than just jumping right into it. its going to save you time and MONEY. i know all of this because i was in the same exact spot as you. i thought they were overpriced. but i found out exactly why everything was priced the way they were. if it werent for gabe id probably be driving a 10k gtr that wouldnt pass safety, thats rusted up, and that keep on breaking down on me.
