im looking for either a RB20DET or RB20DE, im willing to pay between free and 300 for the engine, just the engine, ill come and pick it up myself, not amazingly worried about the condition. This will be the engine I will be using for my LSR project, I am getting ready to start this project up however I need an engine to start with.

Preferably, an engine that runs and has been babied. If you would like to know of the plans I have for this engine I am willing to share, but that is for another thread.

800 is a little high, even with 80,000kms on an engine i can get one for 700, but im looking for cheap. I dont care if its a RB20DE or DET. 300 you said? the head is cracked? what kind of damage to the block is there? are any of the pistons damaged? did the crack warp the block any? has it been checked out?

also is your engine a 4wd or 2wd block?

Cunit and I have an rb20det with High lift Cams.. 1200 for engine and tranny.. plus 250 for shipping canada wide. Cams alone are worth 5-600 plus the price of install.

Engine developed rod knock. Motor taken out, #1 (i think) was pulled out (been a while). Head is from a different motor, intake port mount for #2 broke off.

No haven't checked the engine for straightness, i bought it like this for parts.

2wd. was from a former members car.


(Have the piece that broke off still, are you handy with a tig? yes it comes with pink cam covers.)

(alternator not present, nor covers...i think, been a long time since i was at my folk place)

depending on when you guys need one i should have one coming out....when my other engine is done being built....will have full Rb20det with tranny and tuned ecu making 250whp
