Sound system-savvy people, help me out!

My new car didn't come with an audio system..the head unit was removed, and the rear speakers were removed as well. The 2 front door speakers remain, although I'm not sure if they're functional. I'm very in-the-dark when it comes to audio systems..where is a good place in the lower mainland to buy the needed equipment at a fair price and get it installed? I'm not sure if I trust Future Shop with this. Also don't think I should be buying used if I know nothing about this stuff. I'd like a decent head unit with aux input and CD and 2 good rear speakers.

    Any tips are much appreciated!

you can buy the wiring adaptor at walmart or best buy
on the back it tells you what wire does what ...

basicly you splice them together and plug it into the deck ... done and done

If you do it yourself don't be lazy and use butt connectors. Get yourself a soldering iron and some heat shrink. Take your time and make things neat and tidy, it always pays off.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. Friend of mine suggested onlinecarstereo.com to me. Some of their prices look pretty good. I also might be able to get a hook-up from someone at Abby Best Buy.
