There are none. And the Skyline Shop was never "good". Find a friend that knows their way well around a GTR.
yes... I have a Miata. no... I'm not gay.
shitty deal gay i dont know any one up in van really that knows there way around the car. Gunna have to find a local gtrcer that can look at it wit me. What about abbotsford japan auto they descent
Is monkey nutz open in port coquitlam yet? If no one knows, ill take a drive around where they are supposed to be tommorow morning. Someone was saying that they aren't officially open, but have some some work on a few cars. Who knows?
I'll let you know if I find anything. I'd trust the guys at monkeynutz based on the fact that they were techs at Ztune, and haven't done me wrong in the past. Work was always good and done properly, so... Yeah.
Plus, Andrew owns a pretty rad GTR, so I can imagine he would know what to look for.
edit: port coquitlam is like 50 minutes away from abbotsford, I guess?
Looking at a Used car..
just check the compression/obvious things..
I could prolly come out and have a look wit ya..
Depending on timing etc.
Post a link to the one that your thinking about..
^^ what he said, the gtr is just like any other used car... And also +1 for Ben.
hey ben that would be sweet i am from kamloops and the cars in mission bc. It has never been insured in canada and looses spark underload said spark plugs but who knows could be something more ill be coming up one weekend when the gf has sometime off so i can pick it up.If some one knows of the car and can let me know about it that be even easier. Here is the link: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...782679774.html . if you feel like going for a drive and check it out at sometime id def sport you a couple bucks for your troubles and use you to import my subi later this year haha.
fyi: Use NGK coppers if you buy it to fix the spark plug blowout. don'tl let anyone convince you that $100+ for spark plugs is a good idea. It is not.

Make sure it has legit papers. If it's "never been insured in Canada" that means a normal ICBC transfer form is useless since there is no BC Regi. Take Ben (Dah_hunter) with you for sure, since he can tell you if all the proper paperwork is there.
You need, Form 1, Export certificate, original bill of sale from Japan + a bunch of other crap.
yes... I have a Miata. no... I'm not gay.
