UBC Sports Car Club 2011 Track Day Program

Hey guys, I want to invite anyone who is interested to the UBCSCC track days this summer. Our first track day is coming up on June 22nd and typically we sell out fairly quickly, but there are still a few spots available. The other days are July 27th and August 10th.

Cost is $225 and is limited to 40 participants (12 Novice). You will get on average two hours of track time. Lunch is included

I assist in running the UBCSCC events, and we get constant positive feedback on our track days. We like to promote a safe environment without infringing too much on the "fun" aspect of a track day. If you're a Novice we have a specific novice group that runs alone with instruction so you can really learn how to drive your car fast, safely.

All you need to come out is a good set of tires, brakes that are adequate (good fluid/pads) and a willingness to have a blast.

Hey aaron, would it be possible for me to come out and take some photos around the track? last time i showed up to a track day (think it might have been a takeda day) i was refused entry at the gate

Yeah no problem. If they have issues just say Aaron said it's fine. You have to sign the wavier though.

What time does it run from? Is a snell/sa 95 helmet alright, or does it have to be more current? If so, are there any loaner helmets?

Gates open around 8AM, cars on track for 9 or 9:30 I don't remember exactly. Day ends around 4ish. You will get 4-5 30min session. An SA95 is no good, there are loaner helmets on site.

Hey guys, just bumping this up. We still have some spots left, and I'd love to see a crew of Skylines out there!.

I am one of the novice leaders, and if it's your first time out don't be afraid you'll get left in the dust. We are a very novice friendly group and myself and one other leader will be there all day to help.

Had a great day on Wed. Perfect weather, good amount of drivers... lots of fun.

Registration is now open for our next track day on July 27th.

We may be offering an early bird registration, more info on that shortly.
