From what I was told, their currently backlogged and wont be able to get to my vehicle for a while. Will this mean, I will have to incur more storage fees from the dock due to their **** ups?

You obviously have never dealt with shipping companies.. they are rather moronic.
A friend shipped some granite from overseas and the company delayed notifying him he could pick up. He was calling them daily about status updates speaking to their head office. 2 weeks passed and he got a $700 storage fee added onto his bill for the shipment. If he didn't pay the granite was theirs, each day he didn't get there, more fees were added.
This may be one example out of many over there and I know all shipping companies aren't the same.

Buddy Ive imported 3 cars. They begin to charge storage fees after the original 3 days given to pick up the car after it's been inspected and released by customs.
