Extemely late review
Hey everyone,
Haven't logged into GTRC in a while but here's the summary of events for Ottawa's official Skyline meet!
Attendees:
RGB,
DarkCaporaL,
GTRJames30,
JDMotion,
CNDBoost (2)
So we had a decent turn-out of GTRC members. We were 4 skylines when it was all said and done. Two other tuner cars came out, LHD turbo'd FC and 240 repping the up-and-coming tuner company CNDBoost and love for children. They told me that this event was Threaded (mentioned) at RedLiners and some other Nissan/RHD websites. Go community!
We sat around for about two hours talking about cars and 'enjoying' the 30c+ weather. Must have been the hottest day of the summer! Not saying much, since Ottawa in '09 has been cold - I don't remember if spring ended yet. Door prizes for everyone! Water was kindly supplied by a combination of the nearby Giant Tiger and my expert bribe of the exact cost
We had 3 R32 GTRs, and an R33 gts-t. I'll let you see the pics in a sec, just bear with me for a moment...
OK, let's do this:
PS: I uploaded them in hella-high quality

After the meet and greet portion of events we went for a cruise down the Rockliffe parkway. This route begins at the foot of the Aviation Museum towering glass structure as a 2km straight road, flowing past rolling hills which lead down to the Outaouais River. The road winds and twists past large park areas, with sprawling fields of grass littered with willow and oak trees that have stood for more than a century. The circuit quickly becomes forested rockfaces on your left as you climb uphill. The guardrails to your right, reminding you of the sheer cliff between you and the rocks below. After a very exciting and dangerous S-curve with gutters, the cars break free from the shadow of the cliffs to a gleaming lookout sitting high above the sparkling river.
We stop for some piccccssssxxxx

4.Skyline tent
5.Best shot of the day here.
6.And a drive-by to cap things off for the day.
Annnnnnnddddddd I'm out!
