Hey guys I was just with the guys at Pur Auto and with time running out we're going to try and organize Skycruise 2012 for next Sunday, October 7th.

Route is still to be determined but please let me know if this works for you. Route will be based on where the members are who express interest.

              Sign me up: Kunzz

location: did you guys like Forks of the credit? I organized it with Daryl last year.

I could set it up again for Oct 7 (short notice) or 13,14
There are 3 or 4 speed bumps but only in front of peoples houses not a big deal, the hair pin is still awesome.
              The cafe changed owners too.

              Thats me in the pix

hey clone, I really did enjoy Forks of the Credit last year and if speed bumps really are a small issue then we could cruise there. We are still looking at other options so if we find something with no speed bumps, good twisties, and minimal traffic then I think might be better than Forks. I personally haven't gone to Forks of the Credit since they added speedbumps so I don't know how bad it is but if you vouch for it not being so bad then lets do it!

Has anyone ever heard of Dorcet?
It's probably 2 hours from Scarborough each way
If anyone knows where Coboconk is, it's 45 min directly north of there. Cottage country
There is a look out tower you can climb which is open to the public. At the top you have a 800 square kilometers of view 365 rotation.
The best part is its the changing of the leaves and the view from the tower is unbelievable.
The brightest red, yellow and orange colours you could imaging. The town of Coboconk is home to The Patty House which is a beauty summer cottage season bar. It could be a good spot for lunch and pints before a 90 min drive home.
I used to have a cottage up there so I drive all back roads at about 110km/hr and there is little to no traffic until Coboconk.
I was camping two weeks ago and went to dorcet and walked the tower. It was awesome and I plan on doing it in the next two weeks again with the girlfriend. Just a thought, it's a good 500km of driving for the day with awesome sights and roads. No tight turns like the credit but much reward and a good day in a skyline.

Well that looks awesom, it's about 4+ hour drive just to get there for me so I'd be out. Maybe next yr if I had little more time.
