  • Regular Maintence for a GTR

IM new here and me and my dad are looking to get a GTR
I have some questions that i need some help with, other than a regular oil change what kinda regular maintence is needed on these beasts. I was also curious if they have a weak spot (ex. honda> timing belt). Thanks in Advance for your response.

A healthy diet of modification. They like to have at least $2000 spent on them per month in mods.

Seriously. It's cylinder #6 and that's only when you get stupid with the boost and low octane gas.

Always fill up with 94 Octane......ALWAYS

The stock clutch. Replace it with a damper style twin plate unit and refrain from launching at 7000 RPM, no matter how cool it is.

Is your seatbelt on? I\'m gonna try something...

If Sean says you need a twin plate, you should get one. Mine was probably on its way out, but I made short work of it (no 7000rpm launches, but there were a couple that were up there ops: ). Now it's time for a twin plate.

Stock GT-R - 7 hard launches it will be done. From brand new, to the car will not move any more.

Drive it like a woman, and it will last a long time.
