I did have some pictures of several of the Denso plugs that have failed. Not an isolated incident. Its happened to lots of people with the Denso Iridiums.
Ok, I'm dazed and confused here. I just got spark plugs today and they won't work in my car. They are too long and too narrow, the cover won't go on if I use them. The number on them is NGK BPR7ES Stock# 4044. The ones in the car were NGK R PFR6A 11. There are alot of numbers thrown around in this post. I have a stock RB20 on stock boost. Which spark plugs should I be ordering. And would these ones I have work in a GT-R? Thanks guys,
I just went and bought NGK BCPR5EIX-11 iridium plugs from Partsource (on sale this month) for my stock RB20DET. But I have to run out right now, i'll change them hopefully tomorrow and edit this post as to the turn-out.
edit: I went with the ZEX ones instead... sorry. much better plugs for cheaper through Hardcore Performance Accessories (local shop)

My car is going to need new plugs when it gets here. Not sure if I should go one heat range or 2 colder. The car has 2530's, cams, pistons, fconv, im planning to be running around 14-17psi (assuming i can get it tuned right and it has enough fuel supply). Would this be enough to warrant a change to an 8 range spark plug? or 7?
Ok based on the number's I've found here and on SAU, I had my Father N Law (who's a sales rep for Warden Automotive) pick me up some NGK copper plugs.
I number I went with were BCPR6ES and apparently NGK has changed a couple of the numbers. The plugs read BCPR6E and the stock number is now 3735. Apparently they've change the numbers in the system for some reason so I just wanted to pass this on.
Take care all.

HKS plugs Tomei plugs are Densos. Greddy - Apex are NGK.
ONLY - that IS ONLY use NGK Iridium plugs. I have a cup on my desk of broken Denso Iridium plugs. The ceramic around the electrode breaks off and drops down in the combustion chamber.
