    • The automatic like all nissans makes about 5 hp less

    • also is came in the R33 & R34 gts-4 so that the gtr had no competion.

    • The RB25DET is the main turbo Nissan RB engine it has a ceramic turbo and high compression for good power.
    • This engine is very torquey and resonds well to modification 450 hp has been achived .

    • These cars are nicknamed godzilla for their strengh on the race
    • track featuring 4wd twin turbo's they are almost unbeatable on the track.

    • This engine can produce 6-800 hp at low revs eg 7500 due to its capacity.
    • It features in all types of Skyline there are three variants of it RB 20/30 RB25/30 RB26/30
    • This engine uses the block of the Australia only engine theRB30 which is Single Cam
    • This mean the cylinder head featured on the engine.The rb25 and 26 both sit without to much problem
    • but the rb20 requires extensive work to both block and head for it to fit.

    thanks for the info, the rb30dett surprised me, didn't know it was so powerful, what kind of cars have those engines (in canada/north america)
    I have dremt the day that the R32 skylines will finally be available for import to Canada and that time has finally come!

      None of the RB engines were ever officially imported to North America. The RB30DET is a custom-made hybrid engine that was never in any production cars.

          no basicly the same engine, also the rb30 is produced my nissan for racing. but it is available to the public as a short block.

            With each model change, the RB26 got more torque. That would lead me to believe that, unrestricted, they would also make more power. Call it technological advancement, better efficiency, whatever, they made them better over the span of 10 years.

                i've just got a questiion about the rb26dett engines. they're I-6's right, because everybody says the 6th cylinder always runs lean, but is it a 6cylinder?

                            All RB engines are inline 6's that means.. every skyline from 1989-2002 used an inline 6 RB engine... (theres a couple R32s that used inline 4's.. but those are gay..)
