    Read this thread:

    and pick one!

I don't recommend going your own for your first car better to use a company who knows what their doing.

Use one of the sponsors of this site - they're all reputable. Everybody here has their favourite. You'll find mine in there.

Anyway - bottom line, search before asking, you'll probably find your answer.

It depends a lot on where your car is coming from, and when you order.

If your car is coming from inland Hokkaido... it's going to take longer to get to a port

If you order the day after KLine's ship sets sail (for example) it will take a bit longer because you will have to wait for the next ship.

There are lots of contributing factors... where you live in BC also has a lot to do with it, same with how smoothly things go at customs in Japan and Canada. I would say about a month from initial purchase to having the car in your driveway.

Also the best way for your first car is to go through an Importing Company such as J-Spec, Import Concern, SCI, etc.. (there are tons of them).

If you have experience with customs and want to save some loot, you can import the car yourself but if you do so I recommend using a Customs Broker just to make the paperwork less of an issue.

      Cheers!
