Anyone purchased anything from them? I have heard there stuff not so hot. But the stuff is so dam inexpensive, its hard not to consider. I'm looking at their front pipe on ebay. Even if it falls apart in couple of years ,then it is a very small investment down the drain, but if it holds up, then it is the deal of the century. Any input other than "you get what you pay for" would be welcomed.

I've bought and Installed SS-autochome parts on my cars twice..
1st experiance.. Headers for a KLZE 2.5L V6 Mazda Engine... They were the biggest piece of **** parts I've ever seen.. Fitment was horrible, nothing at all lined up anywhere.. the gaskets and bolts given with the headers weren't even the right ones.. I was never able to fit them on the car.. they required busting my oil pan, grinding my cross member and the welds were horrible at some spots..
2nd Experiance.. RB26DETT Downpipe.. I didn't want to but when I saw the price I figured I had nothing to lose.. It is relativly bigger then the stock downpipe.. My welds were perfect, super smooth, the gaskets were perfect and fitment was more then excellent! No leaks from any welds, it's still holding very very well, it was worth all the money even if it only lasts two summers.2 times ex-Skyline GTR owner. 2004-2009

I have there turbo manifold on my ka-t motor and honestly, I've had no problems what so ever. It's work perfectly and I'd buy from them again.
There was one thing that needed to be done to it however. The flange where it bolts to the motor had to be slotted. By doing that all the stress was relieved and as such, it could flex and move without cracking. Once that is done you'll be just fine.
Now with that being said it's not a race manifold by any means so as such it's not going to take insane amounts of boost. On some ka-t motor's I know there's guys running up to 15psi on it (daily) and everything is working fine. I think that's probabley the limit, give or take a couple psi.RHD DriftinG, DoeS iT GeT AnY BetteR????

Well Just cause he's a Mechanic don't mean much, i'm going in to be one right now, and i've seen alot of slack stuff already (just a first year apprentice).
so it does have merit but i would not take his word for gold. cause i know that some stuff can look good, but be just crap. look at Suzuki's 2005 GSXR 1000, awesome bike, the welding on the frame looks magnificant, but if you got to look through it (side angle with the one peice ripped off to show a cross section veiw) the welds did not penitrate, so i don't take everythign for how easy it looks anymore, i'de rather save up a bit longer a get some proven stuff, plus with brand names you get bragginf rights, thats worth atleast 10 Pts.... lol

so far i've bought a couple exhuast pieces off Ebay for my GtsT:
SSautochrome elbow/dump pipe = perfect fit, and pretty good quality, welds are a 7.5 on a scale of 10...so for $100, it was a good deal. (not to mention it arrived in 2 days!!)
A2Rinc downpipe = perfect fit, and also quite decent quality welds are i'd say an 8/10, and arrived in 5 days. I got mine for $110.00 about a month ago, but now they seem to be damn near $200.00 :?
delubozparts test-pipe = perfect fit, and TOP quality. welds are 100% and the best gaskets and hardware out of all of them. Was like $70.00!! 4-5 days shipping.
Yup so far Ebay has been pretty good to me, and I have yet to be burned. *knocking on wood* :PAndy B.

I've got thier top mount exhaust manifold on my fully built RB20... so far no problems whatsoever... I HAD one of thier wastegates... THAT on the other hand was not so good... it stuc closed after 3 hard street tuning pulls and spiked the boost to 21PSI, which on MY motor that is built to run almost 30... no biggie but not worth the chance. the manifold though, the only issue I've had at all is I had to change the angle of the turbo flange to accomodate my GT32 turbo... which is signifigantly larger in diameter to the stock turbo that the manifold is designed for. I dynoed my car at 386 with this manifold so far and not one issue with the quality yet. So i would say it's well worth the $200 I payed vs the $300 I would have had to spend to even MAKE one!
Just my 2 centswe have found the replacement for displacement grampa... we like to call it technology
