Need help hard-wiring E-Manage Ultimate to RB25

As the title states, I'm having issues turning the car on when I wire the ignition harness. I followed the instruction manual to the letter, and still no go...

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there anything I have to do differently? I have a series 1 Rb25 so it has external igniters.

Have u set up the jumpers and the software?

Yeah... car will start if I don't wire in the igntion but as soon as it's in the equation, it just cranks and won't start. Is there some sort of mod I have to do to the ignition timing in order for this ecu to work?
