Jasma exhaust - is not a brand!!

Jasma exhaust is the certifacate of compliance. This jasma certifacate certifies that the exhaust in the picture ( if included ) is operational, and is below 120 db.

Jasma is not a brand! This is like saying i have a driveclean exhaust or etest exhaust. Hell even saying that its california or 50 state legal is more correct then to call it a jasma exhaust.

You should try to identify the brand or at the very least word it like this.

I was adding this because i constantly see people advertising their cars with jasma exhaust system, even in this forums "cars for sale" section. So for future refference, people can see what jasma really means.

You -DO- yknow that some people, including myself, say 'Jasma' as a good way to gauge that the product isn't a glasspack noise maker from canadian tire and is a JDM product that actually supresses sound?

Japanese Automobile Sport Muffler Association. The JASMA plate on an exhaust means that in Japan we can expect the vehicle to pass "shakken" inspection without having to change the exhaust to a stock one. It is not only the amount of noise they produce, but ground clearance, etc.

I take cars for inspection quite frequently and much prefer if they have a JASMA exhaust because I'm always having to get stock exhausts repaired before the car will pass. Generally, I don't have to do anything to a JASMA exhaust besides change a gasket. The two exhausts that I've found have the best life-span are old A'PEXi Megaphone Dunks and Tanabe Medallions.
