  • reupholster the dash?

    is that even possible?

can we order new dashes from nissan? how much do they run?

do you mean re-do it in the same material?

it's not all that hard once the dash is out to cover it in a chosen material. getting it to last another 15 years might be.

If you're worried about the bubble, I remember reading a DIY somewhere about how to fix it.
It included a heat gun/blow dryer, and a syringe with two-part epoxy in it.

Find a sweatshop locally that can muster up something to cover it up.

There is a company called Just Dashes that completely refurbishes dash pads to better than new. They are in the states but the work is perfect and your dash will be factory brand new again. Not cheap however, here is the link: http://www.justdashes.com/

yeah there pricey, but there work isnt the best... theres a guy in toronto, called tack upholstry..

i had just dashes do my brothers montecarlo dash, and came back worse than it left. the leather that it was wrapped in, was bubbled when it got here, and the corners were far from perfect... but on the other hand, i bought a dash from them, that had been done for my charger, and it came out mint,, i guess you have to give them sH$#%T to get stuff done...

I am going to try http://www.tackupholstery.com/

I was thinking of ordering a new one from Nissan, but it would still be 20 years old and the glue cant be that good. Or could it?

I'll try and price both out.

I agree it could not match exactly unless you did everything.

                          ^ not a bad idea....

If your looking to cover it then superior auto in Japan does make a dash cover that's different style look that might not be everyone's cup of tea but is a good addition of your going for cleanliness! Other than that I would flock it as well as the door cards and the center console trim. Might try this on my new ride this week. Anyone know where to squire some decent stuff
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!
