lol, that's funny. I wish my dad was a lawyer...maybe I wouldn't have been blamed for the 2 accidents I was in several years ago...also got sued from one of those. Fricken people are unbelieveable. I felt like giving them real injuries...because the damage to the car wasn't even bad enough to spend the $500 deductable. Jerks.

I would like some tint in my car. I have just the side rear little windows tinted, but I'd like to replace it with something a little darker on the side and same with rear.

i just want to get the two back windows tinted and maybe the front driver and passengers something like 50%

but i dont want to add anymore attention to myself having no licence! hah

FYI Cops frequent this forum. And your car is a cop magnet.

There's a place on King George where we got my brothers car done. Can't remember the name. It's just past 108 on the right hand side in with Mister Transmission and that. Go there since they do good work. But go there after you get your license back (I'm assuming it's been revoked).

And to politely say what everyone else is going to, you shouldn't be driving without a license. Regardless of whether you failed your test or had it revoked. You are not competent to drive under law, if that leads to you t-boning one of my family members, I will hunt you down... Just like you would hunt me down if I rammed my GTS-t through your living room.

As for those discussing tickets etc of front windows...

The police have a gauge/reference piece they can hold to your car and see if the tint is within appropriate variations/standards. If your friends get away asking how they measured, it's just because the cops were too lazy to pull it out and confirm.

As for the guy with 5% tint up front... I would be interested to see something like this, and how it is at night. My brothers rears were 5% and I hated backing up (especially at night in the under ground) since I couldn't see **** out the rear windows. I can't imagine 5% up front would make looking out for pedestrians and such at night very easy...

I might do some tints up front, but something really light. Even then it is at the bottom of my priority list. One ticket for it = a simple mod. New stereo. New speakers. Rays lug nuts. Oodles of those little things that add up so quickly...

It was relatively cheap since the guy is a V-dubber as is my brother so he got a good deal. He rocks a 4 door Jetta. Got the back 5 done (two in each rear door, and the rear windshield) and I think it was something like $130...? It's relatively cheap, and they only use gray-scale tints so they wont go purple. Pretty sure he offers a warranty too.

EDIT: I THINK he quoted me $50 for the front windows. But that is me literally pulling a number out of my ass. Could have been more. Could have been less. I'll ask my brother.

I know someone who had all 7 windows on a WRX hatch tinted for $250 at N-Motion.

They are like the "go-to" guys for tinting in Vancouver.

you laugh like it's funny, but I'm going to laugh when you post up on here how you lost your license for 5 more years after getting caught.

And if you ever get in an accident and hurt someone, say goodbye to any money you have or will earn in the next 10 years and (if you have on) your house.
