7k for a gts-t is OK... depending on the condition and modification level. If its modded, then 7k is cheap and most likely something is wrong with it, if its stock then go for it.
check the rear arches for rust!!!
Stay away from Tiger. Do a little digging and you will know why.
no kidding, my gts-t was fine in the snow... got stuck a few times but if you actually have winter tires and not shitty nexxens like me it will be good to go.
GTST and a set of decent winter tires is the most fun ull have on open roads in the winter time....Fresh snow dumps, and open parking lots were many fun times to be had.

i disagree. a GTR would be WAY more fun in the snow. AWD<RWD<FWD lol
ive only ever raced one person with my car (cuz street racers are fags. i'll punch anybody straight in the face if they think its cool) and that was a guy in an sti in our first snowfall of the year before they sanded and salted. oh and i had strictly summer tires on. still handled amazing.
WHEN MY TURBO'S GET SPOOLED, YOUR GONNA GET SCHOOLED

I have had both at the same time
gtst > gtr when it comes to winter, you spin anyways in the winter
If you want to know more about Tiger Japanese PM member Terrh. He got his there. There will be a reason for the 8k GTR.
As people are saying, stay away.
Also, unless something has changed recently, stay away from Osaka in Montreal as well. With them, its either illegal, or garbage, or both...
Look thru the for sale ads on here, there are some nice GTSt's for sale...
Nudge...the price on mine is negotiable...nudge (shameless plug):drive:

Thanks alot guys. I just need to know 2 more things before Im ready for a purchase.
1- If I get a Skyline from Montreal and it has been inspected and plates following SAAQ rules, does the car have to be inspected again in Ontario? I know I obviously have to do the etest and safty.
2- Any common problems I should look out for when buying?
I've read alot of horror stories on the RX7 club about Tiger so Im staying away. But has anyone heard of JDMSkyline in Montreal? I hear the only respectable importer in montreal is JDM montreal.

1. Yes. Standard safety/etest apply. If it was REGISTERED already in PQ, its just a transfer like any other car..
It may help out if it passed SAAQ though....pretty similar..
2. Yes. Look in FAQ. This has been covered extensively. Main concerns of mine would be..
-does condition match the price/mileage?
-rust, especially rear wheel arches, trunk corners, and spare tire well.
-have timing belt & pullies been done?
-fluid leaks/levels?
-does it drive well (shakes, wierd noises, etc.)
-does it appear to have been taken care of? (clean, everything works, etc..)
-and finally, Do YOU like the car??:drive:
Never heard of JDMSkylines. PM klys, he may know..
I still stand by my suggestion of buying from a member here, as MOST of us have done the maintenance required to the car, know the cars, and some other members may be able to vouch for condition (if they don't live a way off by themselves... :-( )

you're very right. Unless you ahve a 50/50 like a subaru, RWD wins. Sure you may get sideways a bit more but it is VERY controllable... I would rather have RWD oversteer in the snow than FWD understeer into a crub.
