  • Urgent.. Where is the jacking spot in front?

I need to jack my skyline to pass my power cable in the fender but I can't see where I can jack it under the sill.

I need to jack the front right wheel.

I generally jack on the cross-member in the front and differential (not the diff. cover though) in the rear.

      Tow hooks are sketchy.

I always use the tow hooks

They work fine.. and never had an issue

I just like jacking cars up on flat surfaces. Tow hooks seem counter-intuitive to me, that's all.

Just to add, for other to search for....

The main floor jack point for the front of the car is marked with an X, on the cross member. The OEM scissor jack points are the spots on under the car that fold under the weight of the car, aka "Rocker Panel seam".

That being said, my car is too low to just place the jack (Mine is a low profile jack) at that point and go. I have to jack the car up on each side, at the torsion bar mounts, and place a 4x6 or something under each wheel first.
