I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the scene of the car. I know some skyline owners get together and have meets and I got together with 12 other skyline owners for a car show just over a week ago and everyone I met seemed really cool and had nice looking skylines.

You simply can't make any intelligent observations about the owners of the skylines you've seen driving around because you didn't have a conversation with them and you don't own one yourself. If you let every asshole that owns a car turn you off from it then you should just ride a bike for the rest of your life or don't hang out with those people and ignore them.

Every skyline owner I've met in person has been good in my books. Have you met people from this site before and been given a bad impression by them or is your post just there to troll our skyline forums because that's what it looks like to me.

EDIT: I don't mean to come off so harsh or rude as my post sounds but put yourself in our shoes and re-read your original posts and think about what the purpose of them really was.

I live in a town of over 1.5 million people...and on a daily basis...the only...ONLY god damn skyline i see is my own car...

I am sick and tired of people coming up with ridiculous stories about everyone owning a skyline..

For hecks sake i see more ferrari's every day then I see Skylines..

Unless your trying so hard to find one...then your not gunna find one...

For ƒucks sake....I have such a hard time believing these stories since all of them i hear are retarded...and most of them that are seen are ugly, not on this site, and i wouldnt even consider them skylines anyways...

Next time you look for one...make sure its worth mentioning...not some ridiculous skyline...

Jesus...maybe i've just had a bad day...but when 90% of people dont even know what my car is...how do you see 4 in a town of 11,000...

      ƒuck off
Probably just a bad day like you said. I have seen 4 skylines in one day. But that is a rarity. I may see one once a month but they aren't everywhere. If your talking RHD cars in general, well then maybe I see one every 2 days, delica, landcruisers. etc are more and more popular.

everyone needs to stop whining. If you bought the skyline because you wanted to be cool for owning a "JDM tyte" car, have no friends and just wanted the attention..., then you bought one for the wrong reason.

So please if seeing too many skylines on the road makes you not want to buy one then by all means DON'T. I'd hate to meet you somewhere and stop to chat only to realize that there are douchebag skyline owners. Don't shatter my image of skyline owners, go buy some POS car just because it's rare instead.
          Yah if i ever see a skyline...a wave and a honk....FOR SURE...

I see delicas and RHD Rx7s and stuff at least once a week...but i still dont see many skylines...

I love my car...and never had any idea in my mind to buy one cause i am a fan boi...i fell in love with this car years ago around the age of 8 when i first played gran turismo on PS1....and i have never looked at another car the same...Sure i am 17 and prolly one of the youngest on this forum...but when i work 14 hour days, and sacrifice every god damn summer for a car...a car i respect and desire...i believe i deserve it...and the people that know me i assume agree that i am not arrogant in any way...i never flash it and never EVER act like an idiot...for my age and the vehicle i have...i believe i act very mature...

Its just....un believable...its the ultimate car...every time you drive it, its like falling in love for the first time...when you drive this car, its as if the world stands still and you and the road are the only things that matter...its so graceful, but furious...delicate and invigorating...it devours the competition..its so advanced and yet so suttle...its rumble is like a symphony or instruments in perfect harmony...the thrust of the turbo spool is more satisfying then any roller coaster ride ......its a piece of history... a legend of Japanese and human engineering....its the Nissan Skyline, Godzilla.... the presence of it requires a certain amount of maturity and respect....its like dreaming every time the throttle opens and the world becomes a blur...only the people who realize the drive and power...the potential and passion that is behind this car...only those people....in my books...deserve to own this car...

So the next time you see a random skyline...remember....its " not the ride...its the rider."

Anyone can own a skyline...but only a select few deserve to own a skyline...the ones you spot all the time....make sure they are worth mentioning...

And when you ask "OH WELL HOW WOULD I KNOW WHICH ONES TO MENTION?"

I assure you...you'll notice one worth mentioning once you lay eyes on it, hear it rumbling, touch its glorified curvy body, smell the 94 octane fuel being burnt, taste the sweat build up as your heart begins to pump...

you'll notice one worth mentioning when you see one you'll never forget...and you dream about owning it, and driving it every time you lay your head down at night....

You'll notice....in our spotted threads...its the skyline owners spotting each other...not random people...if you wanna mention something about seeing them everywhere...buy one first...and experience why people buy them...

And come to realize as well...none of us street race....we may give a car a run for its money here and there...but we all understand and have that amount of respect to realize...not to mess around...and treat this treasure with the respect it deserves...

This car is a privilege to own...a privilege that i am not willing to give up anytime soon...and i am sure very few of the people here are willing to give it up either...

i think its frickin awesome to see a convoy of Skylines blasting down the HWY, but even at that....i love seeing all the unique individual Skylines that people put soooooooooooooo much time, money and effort into rather then seeing such a sexy car goto waste!

i wonder what happened to that sweet dark purple one that had some rear damage living in my town? toooo sad!!

            but...Skylines +1FTW

Bow down to the almighty Skyline BWHAHAHA

If you want my honest, simple opinion, it's that I am glad we're seeing more Skylines out here. When people do stupid things and crash em, those of us who care for our cars can peck apart the parts we need.

Owning a Skyline isn't an exclusive thing. It's a car like any other despite where the wheel is or for the fact that it was never made on our shores. Civic owners are passionate about their cars because, like us, they are enthusiasts like us. Same can be said about owners of Integras etc. If a car looks fast and has been in some kind of racing movie, guys who are jacked with testosterone will buy that car just because it was fast in the movies and race the hell out of it until they either die or kill someone. These same idiots see me driving and constantly try to goad me into racing them. I give em a few revs at the line and watch them speed off while I'm going my normal pace of the legal speed limit.

So, just because people are bringing RHD cars out, why make a big deal about it? If they aren't banging the **** out of it illegally then so what? That to me means you've got an instant friend right there! Sounds to me like you're jealous that more people are owning them and it doesn't seem exclusive anymore.

Guess what? Suck it up Princess.

No matter what, I still see my car the way I have since day one.
