Well after almost 2 years in the making my car is complete...almost and heading to dyno today...I Hope. Wink wink Mike.M. It5 has been a hard and painful journey but hopefully this day will put a feather in my other wise broke ass cap. It is going in for a conservative street tune later today and it will hopefully put done some decent #;s at 1.2bar. I will post results as soon as i get them. Build thread in its complete form will be posted at a later date... Once again I say Hopefully as I have got to this stage many, many , many times before and jinxed it by speaking too soon... Wait i think by posting this I jinxed it again...Doh!

Eber, I'm sure Mike M will squeeze every bit of hp out of your engine that he can.
Good luck and don't push it too hard!

I'm running GT rs twins with 86/ar. But as I ststed I have been to this point many many many times before and once again have been dissapointed. No the car didn't blow up but the car cant make it to dyno because one of the shop employees is sick. I am very dissapointed to say the least. I have been told the car will now be dyno'd monday but no longer have my fingers crossed. I'm sure something will come up to delay me again. I will post results whenever I get them.
Falcon I hope to put down 600 at 1.6 bar and hope to stay together at 1.8:-?

Went to dyno yesterday and the results were not good.. Yet. The car was surging like a mother fuker and didnt want to lay down any decent #'s. We are going to look at the cam timing to see if there is anything that can be done to fix its upsets. On a possitive not the car did at least 12 full throttle pulls and stayed together nicely. With the amount of fuel and air thrown into it it should be making a lot more power than it is. I think there is something wrong with the overlap on the cams due to the fact that the exhaust manifolds (cast) were glowing very red way early. I think a lot of the detoination is occuring way too late and therefore not making much power. The guys at RG were a little confused by the #'s to say the least. Unfortunatly my tuner is away for a few weeks and we will have to have the car tuned by someone who is not all that familiar with the car. Jerie from Z-tune had much better results on my setup in the past so I cant wait till he gets back. The car surged so much that its could barely be driven back to the shop and it still put dowm 321 on the all wheel dyno. I have a feeling once all the kinks are worked out I will hit 500 for sure. Thats on the mustang dyno:hit_head:

I have done some cams with big overlaps before and it is critical to dyno tune them both properly if you want to make any power. I had installed mine properly at TDC using a lock pin and all and I still had to go advanced on intake and retard on the exhaust too in order to get peak power, any other setting 2 degree off and the car made absolutly no power. Personally I would tune the cams with almost no boost before I make the manifold glow too much...
How was the AF and timing in order to run such high egt?
