as bad looking as that car is... you'd be a fool to think they're not considering this route...

reason #1 obviously there is a huge possibilty that something like this could go through infinitti... i mean, look at the FX35... this could be the new generation FX35.. you ALL know thats true, especially for north america.

#2 *AND MOST IMPORTANT* its happened in the past, you all seem to forget about that 5 door station wagon nissan made ... called the stagea! same RB26DETT motor... haulin for a soccer mom carrying i guess tons and tons of groceries? i dono... but dont be so naiive! this is very probable.

those pics are from a Japanese car magazine. I saw them and asked my friend at Nissan if they will be making it, but he said he doesn't know yet.
It's a very viable design I think though, especially in Japan. Guess who buy and modify minivans? All those guys who were tuners and drifters before they had kids.
The GTR SUV would satisfy all those guys who want a GTR but their wives won't let them get it.

a performance suv may be a possability but i don't think that they would style it that closely to the GTR. if they do, well that would be kinda gay.

Nissan will never release something looking even remotely like that. They wanted the GTR to be exclusive. That's why they have low production numbers, they didn't call it a skyline, and why there has never been a single ad on TV. This would ruin all of that.

I disagree, There was no tv adds because there was already massive hype behind the gtr, everyone already knew about it as it was floating around the internet like a pleg. I do think nissan will put something like this into production as its aimed at families with kids who still want something sporty and fast but who cant sacrafice space. Its why porche did it along with mercedes. Its working for them and it will work for nissan

Actually Nissan's president forbade any television commercials before the car was even presented to the first reporters.

And, yes Porsche has done it, but does the cayenne look like a rounded 911? No, it looks completely different.
