    On the cheap with RB26 you reuse the stock I beam conrods (Shotpeen, crack test), then fit ARP conrod bolts, Nismo bearings (coated bearings), Forged pistons with stock block (that's not cracked). That's a 700 hp capable engine on a dyno.

    Shot peening -



    Since your not going to produce over 100hp per cylinder (limit of stock cast pistons) or 6 cylinders x 100hp = 600 hp, just change the piston rings from stock to Mahle, ACL or similar. Then fit ARP conrod bolts, ARP headstuds, etc.

    A cheap engine rebuild just involves machining cost, pressure testing head, etc. Machining cost's add alot of $$$ to a rebuild, but is necessary. Assembly cost's (labour) can be done by yourself if you want to save $$$.

      i will do the assembly myself.
      the machineing isnt much of a problem becuase i can get it done real cheap.
