Looking at that R32 optional part catalog again, I think you can still buy the optional monsoon / rain sheild's for side windows from Nissan, so maybe they still sell the roof racks???

Friday and the weekend is going to suck.

I'm waiting until Monday and all the kids are in school.

I like having Sun/Mon off from work.

        BAKER next week

I phoned the Nissan Dealership in Burnaby and the guy said he would see if he could order it for me.

I have heard good things about Baker. I have friday sat sun monday off every week so I can choose my days haha.

Whistler FTW. (Student seasons pass = $399. Only restrictions Dec. 27-Jan. 1)

Infiniti QX4 FTW. (The only thing that beats studded tires is 4x4 and meaty all-seasons)

              That S14 looks sick.

Not sure if Nissan still sell the optional roof racks. Or could find them second hand in Japan???

Daryl at Tuner Lab or Adam at Feast Auto would be the people to contact.

I'm hoping I don't catch a lot of hate because a) there's now a roof rack on my skyline and b) I'm a skier, but this thread motivated me enough to try fitting the rack I had for my 98 Impreza 2.5RS (RIP) on my GTS-4. Surprisingly enough, everything fit perfectly. The parts involved were as follows:

                    Yakima Q46 clips
                    Yakima 48" Bars
                    Yakima Q Towers
                    Yakima Q Stretch Kit
                    Mont Blanc ski/snowboard carrier

Everything bolted on exactly as it had on the Impreza, and I'm now pretty stoked that I can shuttle myself to the trails/hills without putting my skis over the arm rest inside.

                            Nice!

I'm ordering my setup in a couple days. It'd be interesting to see how the dedicated R32 Thule rack fits compared to the Yakima.

True story, SkunkWorks, I wondered that myself. Maybe we can compare at one of the meets after you get yours? Either that or I'll just keep my eyes peeled for another Skyline with a roof rack in a ski hill parking lot.

Nice work, C-Unit, come to the darkside, lolz. I'm just getting into alpine touring this winter after skiing for ~18 years, and I'm having more fun than I thought possible on skis again!

Got mine for 125 bucks off kijiji... ended up cutting and bending some honda clips to fit perfectly. Came with snowboard racks.

Gonna put it to use monday!
