Repaint?

I'm looking at getting some new paint put on and I wanna hear from some guys that have had it done or that know all about it. Car is R32 GT-R and I expect a full paint job... Take off the weather stripping, panels etc.. AND I expect it to be flawless... So I know I'm looking at big bucks

1. What kinda price difference could I expect between a re-spraying it gunmetal or doing a color swap to black? I would be able to disassemble anything and have the pieces prepped so that the painter only need do the things surrounding painting (sand, prime, paint).

2. What are some good places to get this done? In Calgary or B.C...

I couldn't recommend any places to go get your car repainted. But when a friend of mine got his 180sx repainted. He did all the prep work himself aswell. I think it saved him at least a grand so its definitely worth it to do that yourself if you have the time/skills.

i'm doing my car soon, basically if you respray the same color you can cheat and not have to move much off the car at all. Its the color change which is expensive if you want it done right and have door jambs etc all matching.

I could give you the name of an amazing shop in calgary. I'd have to find out tomorrow. but they painted my friends 360 and it looked just as good as original ferrari paint. couldn't tell the difference.
