  • Where to get complete 3.5' exhaust line?

Is there some aftermarket brand that offer this configuration or I have to go custom?

Any sponsor on GTRC for a good custom exhaust?

I want 3.5' because this exhaust calculator tell me that I need 3.5 for approx. 500hp

500bhp(whp) doesn't necessarily need 3.5 but you can I guess? I can check if my greddy down pipe is 3.5 I guess as it's for sale. Some guys make over 600 on stock sized.

Take your pick, like HKS 3.5" catback exhaust, etc.

Or X-Force 3.5inch catback exhaust (stainless, so doesn't rust) -

It should be within noise regulations and can run a high flow cat or no cat. But I would use Mines, Nismo or similar dump pipe with above exhaust or HKS exhaust, etc.

This is what X-Force exhaust sounds like on R33 RB25DET and the rwkw (rwkw x 1.341 = rwhp) gain with a high flow cat -

80mm is a usual exhaust size for R32s, HKS and many other makers make exhausts in that size. You will have lots of choices!

i think this is your 10th thread about your exhaust.. without counting the other forums like RHDQ and MR

at this rate your car will never see the road in 2010

go to a ******* jdm shop, by any **** cat-back, get a regular size legal muffler on it,

          fastest, cheapest solution

          OR

keep your 100000$ RS*R and put a dam silencer on it

and don't worry about size, believe me, you could push 500hp out of a 2'' hole
and i just don't think you'll EVER have 500hp anyway
you don't have anything close to the level of supporting mods to get that
and on your budget (student) it might probly take much more than a year
you should aim for 400hp first, so you don't get disappointed

problem is, you don't seem to understand the concept of ''compromise''

you want something thats loud, big, high flow (performance), but cheap, AND not to get the cops on your back

it just doesn't work like that

          ....compromise

thats just my opininon, and don't take it personnaly, your a good guy, overzealous, but a good guy

If you want something that is 80mm and quiet, you should go with the HKS Legal muffler as I suggested

Yeah but quiet exhausts arent any fun And on topic, I know an sr20making 420 crank horsepower on a 3", who saw almost zero gains going to 3.5". Was a fuckton louder though, both in and out of car.

#1. I took a look under my car and I'm sure i already have an Aftermarket dump pipe. Could be the RS*R. So I don't see why I have to go to a JDMshop to buy the samething I already have. You know my problem Frank, le criss de test de broche!

#2. I have a silencer! But what is the point? they can still pass the wire without restriction! They just see a Skyline, do a U-turn and follow you. it's annoying.

#3. I don't like to buy in a second. I like to make the right choice. That why I'm talking my times to find the best solution. By the way, I never said I want CHEAP.If the solution is 1000-1500 I will pay for it.

#4. Finally, give me a chance, I don't have the supporting mods for the moment but it just take money

i can totally get that.. but check this out... i got ONE exhaust ticket for my exhaust... i of course contested it.. ive built my case... requested the "preuve de divulgation"... and in the evidence against me package i recieved it says at the bottom of the file "photographes prises"... and theres no photos in there...

called the crown prosecutor he said the case is on hold untill they A) find those photos or B) decide to proceed with out them... he said they can only wait a year or so untill they must proceed at which point he admitted to me all i have to say is the document submitted by them is false as no photos exist... and i win the case.. he was really very mad LOL....

anyways the point of my story is... once i win the court, i keep my documents in my car with me and i can run my HKS exhaust for ever and never receive another exhaust ticket..

thats what you should do... teste de broche doesnt matter for anything because i have 100% proof that the oem GTR exhaust is indeed a free-flowing exhaust.

                            WHP, AWHP or FWHP?

Yes, ideally the more flow the better. But you need the intake/IC/headwork to really take advantage of the flow. I've made 525AWHP on pump with a 3'' exhaust (80mm tomei dumps/dp though). We would have benefited from a larger exhaust, but when you take the cost increase into account since they are "rare" it's almost not worth it.

I agree^^^^. You need head work, turbo, high boost level, etc to take advantage of the bigger diameter.

For example, full 3.5 inch exhaust is more for around 700hp engine with cams, big single T04Z turbo or similar, etc. With T51R turbo, change of cams, porting head , etc, would be fitting a 4 inch exhaust.
