does anyone know of any shop in southern alberta or somewhere close that is good with Power Fc's or even skylines in general

I know there is nothing in Lethbridge. I assume their may be some in Calgary.

My car is not running the greatest and im not to sure why.

It just seems to be sooo gutless.

I know my diff is wearing out (acts like an open diff). and the clutch is "slowly" making its way out. Not sure if those would make the car less powerful and seem slugish

my ignition timing is set at 15 degrees and that is what it runs at.

the knock sensor started going up today again when i was pushing he car a bit

But the car is becoming slower, the exhaust sounds nothing like it used to. It literally sounds like a honda with a fart can when i start from a stop.

it runs and sounds better when i am in gear at a stop light than when i am in neutral at a stop light

the car is nowhere near as fast as it used to be. its becoming sluggish and useless after 3000 RPM. i don't know what it is.

I put Petro Canada in (91) but it was having those problems when i put shell in on sunday. Ive put shell in before without problems

I don't think its the fuel

      please help

If engine feels sluggish, it could be that engine is running lean for some reason and probably would explain the high knock, sluggish feeling.

Check anything fuel related like fuel pressure, TPS, MAF's, o2 sensors. But below 3000rpm can be TPS, as that is the range the settings for TPS on ECU work in. Sensors should be able to be checked on PowerFC hand controller.

the timing went up to around 35-37 degrees now

yeah. i found the sensor part, if the circle is filled in, does that mean to check that, or the opposite.

cause like half of mine were filled in

Black is on, clear is off. A bad sensor will have a black highlight around its name. (If memory serves...)

Black as in a filled in circle, or black as in white text on black background?

That's normal. If there are none of the white text on black background your sensors are prbly OK.

its a white background. with black text. the circles aren't filled in. but some of them are.

its just gotta be something. there is no way my igniting timing is that high. it goes between 15 and 47 at any given time
but tends to be above 30

so i was talking to my dad. And he said that it might be happening because when i put the new turbo elbow on and down pipe.

we stripped like 3 bolts from the turbo elbow. or cross threads them more or less.

he said there is probably as exhaust leak which is causing the louder noise

and may be messing with a sensor. but there is no sensor for the exhaust gases.

                            so i don't know

my fuel pump sensor is going off, and my oxygen sensor setting.

My timing was at 40 degree's when I first bought my car, because whoever did the timing belt was a tard and didn't know they had to set the timing after doing it, I guess. I didn't read the thread (I'm supposed to be working), so I'm assuming you have probably already checked your timing. If not, then it is indeed quite possible for the timing to be that advanced
