  • Aftermarket Steering Wheel

    Hello,
I want to purchase an aftermarket steering wheel for my R32 GTR. I found a place that sells gently used wheels for cheap. They have lots and I dont think I can go in there and say give me one for my R32 GT-R. Iam wondering what kind of things I should look for so that I know it will fit or will all of them fit? Iam talking about the holes that are used to attach the wheel if there is a bolt pattern or something like that? thanks

With an aftermarket wheel there are no vehicle specific wheels, you will need a steering hub adaptor. Some adaptors, like the ones we sell, fit nearly every aftermarket wheel. So you will need an R32 specific adaptor.
The ones we sell fit all Momo and Nardi compatible wheels, so pretty much all of them.

first, go in there and "select" the steering wheel you are most likely to buy,

then depending on the brand, it will have 1 of the 2 mostly used bolt pattern
i know; OMP, Sparco, MOMO, Nismo, share the same pattern
and; Personnal, Nardi, NRG, share the other pattern

then when you know which pattern you need, go buy a skyline hicas HUB with that bolt pattern (i have a MOMO hub, a Sparco spacer and an OMP wheel, it all fits perfect)
there are plenty of sponsor here who can help you out with ordering the right hub

Is your stock wheel in decent shape?

If you think of the wheel as a clock, from 6 - 12 (left side of wheel) is pretty good, but 12 - 6 (right side) is not as good. The paint is flaking. The main reason I am getting a new one is that I dont like the size of the wheel.
