The little blue things in the pic.
Bought some piping, seller said they would include old couplers but I wouldnt mind getting new fresh ones. Where can I get some? tried ebay, didnt see any. Maybe my search terms were not good.
thanks!
1991 Silver Skyline R32 GT-R - SOLD You will be sorely missed girl :'(
There just silicon straight hoses so you should find out the diameter of the pipes and then get the appropriate size for them. I have the autobahnn88 for the gtr and they measure slightly over 3 inches, not sure on the gts.
Buy or borrow a vernier clamp and measure the OD (Outside Diameter) of hardpipes, etc.
Be careful of cheap intake hose joiners / couplers as they can be single ply and fail (crack) under higher boost levels. Should be at least 3 ply. You can look at end of joiner and see how many plys / layers it has. Best to buy silicon (factory is rubber) as it handles high engine bay temps.
Good brand is Samco silicon hoses and is used on GTR's, F1 racecars, Nascar, etc -
I will get Vibrant couplers. They are local and pretty cheap. You can have them in very short time and without getting charged for shipping and duty. http://vibrantperformance.com/
Their head office is in Mississauga.
