I can only imagine the oil filters are good.
My Car is running all Royal Purple fluids. Perhaps next oil change i should put a royal purple one on. But really, is it worth the extra cost.
My canadian tire one is holding up just fine
EDIT
Okay, after watching video, maybe i will try a royal purple one haha.
It would help if there was a distributor in Lethridge that carried royal purple stuffLast edited by RHDskyline; 09-30-2010, 02:00 AM.sigpic

... I can always get you a RP filter, we deal with Mopac. Alberta's RP wholesale dealer.
But really their filter designs are no different than other high performance filter companies on the market. They just have the advertising power to lure everyone in! Try Power Enterprise, AMSOil etc... Very basic design at a lower price.2009 Mercedes C63 AMG. Daily

RP have a better design, here's a article on pulling RP oilfilter apart and comparing to normal oilfilter -
Silicon antidrain back valve (rubber in other filters), reinforced with mesh + better filtering media (NOT paper which can fail), stronger backing plate, stronger housing. Sounds good to me.
RP filters are made by Champion Labs -
But CL made them better than other brand filters they make, wonder why???Last edited by Skym; 11-18-2010, 07:11 AM.RESPONSE MONSTER

CobrAA, look at the article, as it compares normal, RP oilfilter, both made by Champion. Can understand the price difference with oilfilters, due to materials used (normal, performance).
Even aircraft oilfilters (Champion brand) are higher quality than the paper type oilfilters we put in our cars. So the design for RP oilfilter might have come from a aircraft oilfilter.Last edited by Skym; 11-21-2010, 09:17 PM.RESPONSE MONSTER
