I got my GTS out here for $3500.00 after all was said and done. This comes around the time a really good GTS-T was going for $10k minimum and when the GT-R was $16k the lowest. If the GT-4 as Reid mentioned is the one I want, I suspect I won't be paying that much more.

The difference this time is I will be getting work done to it before I bring it out here. All the maintenance first hand will be done before it reaches these shores along with a trunk full of spare parts (belts, filters etc) so I can stock up my garage.

Also, does anyone have any pictures to compare the R34 GT-R and the R34 GT-Four? I can't seem to find any of the GT-Four. I would like to see if their are any differences in bodystyles etc.

If I am working a proper full time job with a police force and funds permit I want a GTR, I would love a Vspec II but I think finding one especially a NUR may be a fruit best left un picked for me at least, since working all these random shifts. And I would DD it like all my cars hahaha.

You can buy R34 GTRs at auction now for $10k to $15 if you are not to picky about mileage. If you want something perfect it's only about $5k to $7k more. So importer rapeage not withstanding you could be into an R34 for as little as $15k landed with all the BS paid and sitting in your driveway.

I know, with most importers wanting between $7500 to $9500 for the exact Suzuki Carry I brought in, I was into mine for a paultry $4300 plated and insured......and it had only 39k kms on it, was mint.

Stuff can be cheap and quality if you do your homework.

                  Jon.
Why don't you come over to MySpace and Twitter my Yahoo untill I Google all over your Facebook.

                  1990 GTR Drag Special T88H34D 11.24 @ 127.55mph at only 1.2bar...... officially. SOLD

110% Correct. Ive found R34's producing 500-600hp for $15ish-k. After importing and other such nonsense your looking at around $20-25k, which isnt to bad all things cosidered.

I'm fully dedicated to this car! I plan on dumping some serious cashola into this thing when it's legal. I have waited long enough and will just pick up a gtr and build it huge. I plan to do lots!
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

I'd love to get a V-Spec II, but I'm not getting my hopes up. We'll see what happens when it happens.
