Nismo could be right. I myself, have and never will finance or take out a loan for a car. ESPECIALLY a Skyline. Sh*t can hit the fan real quick with these cars. Trust me, I'm 30 deep into my car and just began a full engine build. So add another 10k+. Think real hard before you buy one of these. Plus I pick up more girls in my Silverado, sittin on 22's and it was cheap cheap. Keep it in mind. Don't let me talk you out of JDM though! GL
Dang! You got shocks, pegs... Lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

Oh, I've thought it over very well lol. It's not a matter of having money, that's not an issue. It's a matter of having it all RIGHT NOW. My Skyline fund went VERY far downhill (to practically 0) after I got laid off and had to carry on living. So I'm starting again. And have found an amazing deal on a fantastic GTR

On a new car there is nothing wrong with financing if you dont have the funds, granted you pay interest but sometimes the interest is the smart financial decision of your car is going to require some major repairs. Also you need to balance funds and happiness at the end of the day: driving a crapmobile = less happy.

Snake, you have more than 500 posts so I am going to assume you know a fair bit about these cars and their problems. The way I figure it you are informed so you can make an informed decision so I say good luck. As long as you can make decisions on a financial/value basis not an emotional/desire basis you should be good.

Thanks, Nismo! I appreciate the advice. I'm definitely putting a lot of thought into this and not rushing into anything. I'm definitely prepared for the issues that will arise with it, and I won't be relying on it as a DD, so that's somewhat of a plus.
