  • R32 2JZ Swap

    Question,

I remember seeing a topic or a build on 2jz swap. Can't seem to find that thread anymore. Did a search on "2jz" and giving me nothing.

Need help finding this thread again.

No, it wasn't in Driftwork, where I saw the thread, it was here on GTRCanada. I remember asking the person to post photos of how they ran the exhaust piping.

just searched through all "29 posts" you ever made.. and only 17 still exist. i would say you posted on that thread before the forum was migrated to its new server... the thread was probably lost in the move...

as for 2Jz swap.. i've seen in in the flesh. Osaka motors here in Montreal had a GTS-T painted sparkle green with the gnarliest body kit and cage ive ever seen (gnarly = ugly)... under the hood... 2Jz swapped with a big single.

          never saw it run though.

Ya, that was what I thought. Went to search my posts, and not all of them were there..

That's a shame.. Good build thread, and wanted to keep an update on it..

Just run the exhaust to the other side of the car, or if your using it for track use then just throw a side exhaust coming out just behind the drivers door. It might be somewhat difficult to run it on the same side as a normal skyline unless your willing to go under the driveshaft or something in that area. Depending on how low you car is it might not be all that great.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Or that's another way of running it. That's probably the best way to do it!!

If you watch this crappy video you can see how they modified the down pipe to work on the R32 Chassis.

IMO I would never swap a 2JZ in to a GTR.

Probably the only Skyline in the world that has the 2jz engine from the Supra built in to the Skylines 4wd drivetrain. Its built by OTTO SHOP in Bangkok Thai...

No, that wasn’t the point. Wanted to see how the build was coming along. I used my exhaust post as a reference point for the search.
