  • Dyi drl help??!!??

hi i have a 1994 r33 gts25t w/ race wheel and turbo timer i need to do my drl's and read about the cheap diy way
( 2 wires a fuse) but mines looks difffernt and i dont have 2 outside yellows
but i did find one with 14 receivers with only 8 wires in
it wasnt pluged into anything but it was spliced into a few wires
so im thinking because of different wheel impul neatly by-passed it
    -------------
    |1|2|3| |4|
    -------------
    |5|6|7|8|9|
    -------------
i cant find this under the wheel dash
the one i can find has 8 wires
i have a turbo timer hooked up to a 15amp fuse
i turn on car it turns on
i turn off car it counts down and turns off
so cant i just splice the two of the yellows(which ones) to the
blue wire coming from the fuse to the turbo timer
and should i up the amp of the fuse to 20?

this is what my set up looks like

    ------------------------
    |1 l2 |3 |4| 5 l 6 l 7 l
    ------------------------
    |8|9|10|11|12|13l14l
    ------------------------
    1-black
    2-yellow (w/red stripe)
    3-yellow (w/green stripe)
    4-pink
    5-na
    6-na
    7-na
    8-red (w/yellow stripe)
    9-yellow
    10-na
    11-na
    12-na
    13-yellow (w/blue stripe)
    14-blue (w/white stripe)

the only other wires are under that thick plastic loom wrap

or are thick and only 3 or 4 wires im thinking ignition

I think the one beside your Fuse panel if its a Grey connector is the Nissan Consult Plug. Wish I could help more. Were so close from eachother but yet so far away. Search and search some more, you'll find the answer.

Also, some pics will do us some good.

i\ve read all drl list i know kinda what to do
but i cant find the right wires

my wife has the cam but i think your right
so wheres the wires im looking for

is there a way to do it with out removing dash
$2 supplies and hours of labour vs $30 and 20 minutes under hood seems easier and
less likely to cost me more money

is the module easier to install

Just run a relay from your Foglights, and tie it into your ignition, Takes rougly 25-30 mins.
