With winter just a few weeks away most of us plan to store our cars for the time we cannot drive them.... most of us also take the opportunity to work on our cars during the down time and improve things over last season.
that being said: LETS HEAR ABOUT YOUR WINTER PLANS~!
what are all ya'lls plans for winter projects on your cars? and post some pics so people can get an idea of what you're talking about!
I'll go first:
heres where im at with my engine bay these days:
my plan for winter:
-remove oem boost sensor. and put the Defi sensor in its place with new Vac line
- remove T section from FPR vacuum line and run one solid direct line
- hide the direct vacuum line to the wastegates and run it better
- replace red silicone vacuum lines with oem rubber lines (the silicone cracked and leaks sometimes - preventative for me at this point)
- do a better job of hiding and tucking the resist pack and all its wiring
- relocate power steering fluid reservoir to the rad support just beside the aircon hose.
- finish installing my intercooler sprayer into the bumper (plumbing and electrical switch alrdy all done)
- powder coating in secret color scheme for engine covers and pipes... *you'll have to wait to see
to buy:
- blitz SBC type R boost controller
- aftermarket fuel injectors around 700cc
- denso fuel pump 280 lph
