ish.. your talking about a good 1000$ here

    1. just use a wheel nut extractor, throw it in the garbage, by a new set of nut/locks at canadian tire for like 40$
    2. front rotors on GTRs are about 130$ each, for the rears order from a 300zx (its the same) and they are ~60$ each (brembo)
pads will be ~120$ each set
pads are also the same as 300zx
front rotors are NOT, they are only GTR compatible - 296mm dia.
    3. High beam=H3 low beam=H3C
    4. this is a documented problem amongst GTRs, you are better off buying a set of brand new arms, or finding a set of good used ones
sets of new bushings cost more than the arm itself
    5. borrow a working cat from someone else just to pass inspection, or buy a brand new aftermarket one

            thanks frankiman

for DAH-Hunter i went to GIB motors in maple ridge

pretty legit. but i started hearing clunking with the bushings after he looked at them... kinda weird...

also appearently it costed me 105 bucks for an oil change and took them .4 hours to do it ... maybe he charged me for talking to his apprentince while the oil change was going on...

also frankiman what do you mean by arms ? the complete arm ? where should i look for theese ?

wow u got ripped off with oil change...any shops that uses synthetic oil should only charge u 10 bux a litre plus 5 bux oil filter n skyline uses 4 litres!

get a 240sx cat cheap at lordco backfire, check ur plugs it can be a missfire lol that sounds good

hid bulbs for h3c u mite have to get online...i have a new h3c superwhites if u want it for cheap dont need it (not HID for high beams)

brake pads u can get less if u get other brands for 300zxtt pbr, akebono etc...and rear rotors are dirt cheap i have rear oem pads at 90% pad life i went wit somehting more agressive so pm me save u money

front rotors u have to get it somewhere else unless local shop has it...jdm

or sears has the bolt-out remover for cheap....and buy a lug nut for 1 buck at lordco/napa

upper control arm...post in WTB section for a used one

u shouldve asked for ppls recommendation for shops....some shops are just rip off and now u can start doin all urself slowly...not that hard to fix

mine used 6 L WTF like i saw the 6 bottles put in ?

lol oh jeez. it drove fine tho ? car smelled kinda oily... but thats probably becuase he took the filter out before he drained the oil... i dunno why i didn't stop him..

anyways im just learning suspensions. so a bushing is what connects parts together.. and not the actual arms

can someone point out a new one so i know what i need/what they look like ? Also i read somewhere that the 300ZX ones work ? is that true ?

Hey, I havn't owned my skyline long enough to give any kind of experience advise on the other issues. But, I can tell you for a fact that the RB26 uses 4.9 L of oil. So, for argument sake 5L. Perhaps the bottles weren't 1L? Once upon a time, I use to work at an oil/tire shop and your $105 oil change isn't that out of line. This is western socity... There's markup on everything and then they throw in a little more markup on top that. Like markc32 said, if you do it yourself you can buy Synthetic oil of about $10 litre and the filter shouldn't be more than $5. So that would save you quite a bit of money. Or, you can find a shop that will do it for less - I'm sure their out there. Also, as long as he changed the filter before starting the engine the order in which he drained the oil doesn't matter.
                  Best of luck.

                    what you need is this

RHDJapan offers the best quality performance parts made in Japan including Nismo, Mugen, Defi, Spoon, Cusco, Tomei, HKS and other JDM brands.

                    but oem, and used (cheap)

the bushings are the black bits at each end, i think you need 4 per arm, which is redonculus, and than find someone that knows how to change those bushings

i've never seen anyone change the bushings off their FUCA, they just swap the whole arm

and no, stock 300zx FUCAs won't fit on BNR32s, but aftermarket ones that swivel will

taking the filter out first is a good thing too.
