  • How do you import from japan?

    Hey im just wondering how you import a car(r32 gtr) from japan.. Like papers and what not, how to pay! And who you can trust. I really dont know anything about it or how it works.

    Looking to buy in 2 1/2 from now, but would like to get info done.
    Darn those city folks and there flying machines!

    Hi and welcome to GTRC. I'll answer before you get flammed here lol.
    There is plenty of info on GTRC, but you have to look. So get familiar with the forum.
    There are many trusted importers and some of them are sponsors on GTRC. Such as RightDrive, Adam@feast and many more.

      hey i import my gtr it was a pain in the ass the paper work and stuf i got it for cheap but after am from calgray i had to go to bc and pic it up and do that paper work and it took me 3 days dawen there and 300 for a plane ticket and 500 for food and hoetel and 300 for gas back and i had to change my brakes and oil and stuf abut 200 and i had to rent a car you have to go to like 4 places and that was 400 so thats 1200 and the safetey is 160 but you and i payd for the car $5000 so thats $6400 you can get a nice clean one for abut $8500 with out all the stuped **** you havd to do

        there are so many already in canada. Will be more in 2.5 years. Buy one local. Headache free, then you can actually see it and drive it

              You have 3 options, import one yourself, order one through an exporter or buy one from a dealer or private person in Canada. There are different degrees of risk and cost in each option, be sure to do your research first.
