Check out this really cool and functional Ecliptech Innovations SHiFT-i - Progressive Shift Light System.

On top of a shift light system, it also has built in Battery voltage indication, Brightness control, Cruise mode dimming, Over Voltage Alert and auto dim in dark environments (i.e. night).

my Autometer digital shift light tach does the same thing as well as flash for launch control it works great ! fully adjustable to, think it was only a few hundred dollars at summit

The difference with that is that those are like a giant flashlight single tube design. This is proper race car design as seen on race cars and also some production cars like the Ferrari F430 (it's integrated onto the steering wheel). Prices are very reasonable too for what it can do.

im running a gizmo shift light very small and out of the way but thing sure has some power lights up and flashes at any adjustable rpm from late to early

i bet you could take it apart and blend it onto the top bit of the dash trim. It would look amazing!

i think this would be really terrible at night. AAAH MY RETINAS!!! is ther a brightness setting? or just dont use it when its darker? but otherwise looks awesome

It has auto dimming function in low light condition, i.e at night. I have it on my car and it's ok at night.
