Rb26 in gts 4

Ya his motor is quite a deal, I really don't know why someone hasn't bought it yet! If I had the money I would be buying that thing and drop it into my gts 4. Now that would haul some serious asssss

Really though when you think about it all costs in he would have let's say 35-40 into the motor.... If you were to buy a tomei stroked and big turboes etc etc you wouldn't cost close to that much... It all depends on what you wanna spend .

As far as expense wise when building a motor:

Rb20<Rb25<Rb26<Rb30

And once again it all depends on what you will use it for. If your drifting maybe a 20 or 25, track rb26 and then drag a 30.

RB30's aren't really overpriced. You can use an OEM 30 bottom end with a 25de head on the cheap, and a 25 trans. IF you can find a 30 block locally, it would probably cost less than a 26. The 25 head allows you to bold the standard rb25 turbo parts to it = winnah.

rb25 turbo on a 3L would be fail.

^ well I will have to agree m13. That wouldn't be taking advantage of the possible potential that you have if using a rb25 turbo. I would say gt40 or t78/t88 whatever you should make stupid power and torque with those engines

I'm sure you've considered this already but.... It would be nice to keep your GTS gearing but at least when you swap to a GTR Diff you get the mechanical LSD to replace your viscous.

Ya I thought about this and would have been nice to keep the lower gearing but the different diff would be nice. The only reason I'm not keeping the gts gearing is because I can't find a gts4 oil pan/diff available locally to me!
