  • r32 or r33?

    Just bought a 1993 gts rb25de. it almost looks like a mixed breed of a r32 and r33. how do i know what it is?

    You may find the answer on a nice blue plate located on the firewall in the engine bay!

      hahahah ^ he means check the vin. also why did you buy a car without knowing anything about it?

        Ya it was cheep and I know a little. Learnin more every day, and how do I find out after I got the vin?

                  Ecr32 woulda be an r32. Ecr33 would be an r33

                      HCR32/HNR32 would be a Gtst/Gts4. ECR33 would be an r33.

                          I think R32 GTS (turbo, non turbo) finished production in 1992? (R32 GTR was produced until 1994), so probably is a R33 GTS (non turbo) if in 1993.

                          There was a R32 with RB25DE engine. The heads on those R32 RB25DE engines are popular for RB30 conversions.

                            No actually the R32 ended production in the same year they started producing R33's which is 1993. I own a 1993 HCR32.

                              There were a couple cars that came non turbo in the rb25de motorset in the 32. They are neat and rare. I got to see one in person. Was very interesting.
                              Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!
