Ceramic coating is preferable to heat wrap. Heat wrap + oil + <insert any heat/spark/fire event> = engine fire. Ceramic might cost a few bucks more initially, but engine fires are expensive. That's why most race cars don't heat wrap. At least that's what I've gathered in my time on the always-true internets.

I had mine ceramic coated , 3 layers on inside , 2 layers on outside .
Reduces heat radiation by 70%
