Jack the car up and take a picture of said car. Keep it on the car at all times.

Some News. Got my ownership back and the paper that states why i got my car pulled off the road. It was for a "dim/broken high beam" and "front left tire possibly rubbing on the fender" which was changed by the officer later to all 4 tires rubbing. I got pulled over on my way back home 5 mins away from york university on HWY 7. So 5 mins up hwy 7 and steeles.

I ended up raising my car in the front a bit and got a new saftey for it but this is total ********. They even threw away the receipt i had from crappy tire that said they installed the high flow cat on my car. Im fighting this tooth and nail.

Doesnt it feel good to be creating government jobs. Not.
I have a feeling this is going to be a tough summer for us in Ontario.

I understand they are trying to make the environment a better place by taking the poorly maintained cars off the road but honestly I imagine his car is well taken car of. Even if you don't have a cat, that at most should be a ticket for excessive carbons. I don't know where this guy gets off taking your car off the road but I feel for ya dude! I hope this gets taken car of fast! This is rediculous

Agreed. Get that "officer" fired or at least talked to sternly.

Running would have been fun but really your just getting yourself into a shitttier situation.

Has for the mto I really hope that aren't asses like this on a regular basis. Unless you were doing like some crazy 4 wheel sponge or lighting your tires up they should have no right to do this. I would contest that any day of the week. I would phone everyone possible and have the guy that pulled ne over in some serious shitt for harrassing me.

Man this is bs. Please state your location, I'm definitely interested in what happens

Wow I can't believe they can get away with that. Just goes to show how useless enforcement officers are. Never ther when you need them and when they could be doing something useful ther they are just searching for some little thing to pick on ppl with nice cars for. I think we should mutiny

not sure about ontario but in manitoba if the car is 95 or older then you dont need to have a cat on it

I guess I should keep my cat handy if I leave the province :S WTH is up with people targeting our cars anyway!? There's litterally thousands of deathtrap rustbucket vehicles running around with no trouble.

Wrong, They started giving out tickets for loud exhausts here last summer to all bikes. Is it safer to have a quiet bike? Absolutely not, but it's not legal to have a loud exhaust on anything because it might make other drivers more aware of you.

By the rules of the road a bike shouldn't be driving so that a car can't see it.

But shitty deals about your car bro!

And sorry to hear that ali, pretty poopy position. What are you gonna do? And how could they not have seen your cat?

It seems like they were just out to get your car off the road. Sucks to hear man.

I don't understand how they can complain of loud exhausts on some vehicles when there's so many harley davidson bikes that seem to get away with ridiculously loud exhausts.
