Tomei corner light covers RARE?

hey so this winter i ran into a set of brand new never used tomei corner covers and i was told these are super rare.

my question are these actually really rare and what do they retail for?

No idea what they're worth, Been around skylines for 6 years now and haven't once seen those myself.... might be pretty rare.

Probably are rare since they look older. Ive never seen that Tomei trademark before.
Type the part # in google and see what comes up.

Can we see what they look like out of the box?

These were for sale on GTRC, correct?

then why does the original packaging say tomei and is written in japanese? how can you tell they are fake and not real?

I don't get it. Just get amber gts corner lights. Unless these were dirt cheap, that's easier.

I think it's just to cover the gts clear corners.

When I had my gts, I just got complete amber corners.

they are a different shade of orange. i didnt buy these to put them on my car as i already have amber corner. i got a wicked deal from my friend and he said these were super rare. probably the only set in north america, so i decided i wasnt going to put them on.. what i am confused about is how daryl thinks they are fake when on the box it says tomei racing engineering

I don't think they are fake, I think they are just made by another company that is called Tomei.
If it says Tomei Racing Engineering, then it is not the same as Tomei Powered. The logo is different as well as the packaging and the fact that it says TM Sports on it.
Tomei is a somewhat common name, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was another company called Tomei.
Who knows, I could be wrong!

I think that they are real and rell old. I would only use them on a show car or at car shows not on a daily driver. id put some pics of the different logos tomei has had since 1968, but im more in touch with cars then computers and am still learning this site.

I dunno. I'm inclined to agree with Daryl. He's been around JDM parts and knows his stuff. But who knows. Kind of a cool item to have regardless!
